Asus Gene V

3570k 4.5ghz

Okay guys so here is whats going on, originally needed 1.280v to keep stable, then I did a bios update because I had thought my GPU was running 8x ( Was in 8x slot ) and after the bios update I could run stable prime95 runs at 1.248v with a -0.005 however I had Vdroop which I never had with my other OC at 75% LLC. It would hit 1.256v when playing games but max at 1.248v in prime. Didn't care much, so last night running my weekly prime I had TONS of errors, Whats going on here, I had it stable now its not. I had ran 36 hours of prime and no whea errors now I have alot.
Only difference is normally I run prime with 4800mb blend this time I did 5200 however I have 8gbs and max usage was 86%

I think it's the new BIOS. In the thread for the P8P67/P8Z68 owners, I saw lots of people have similar issues with a stable overclocked system becoming unstable just because of the new BIOS. It's like the new BIOS is so different that it changes everything.

Weird thing is I needed 1.28 for it to be stable on the old bios, got 1.256 stable on the newer bios, 36 hour prime run and then all of a sudden a week later prime issues, a brand new bios came out today, trying it out atm
