Oh lawdy, it's an actual update with pictures and stuff! There are new pics with my new camera but I haven't used a dedicated camera in about 2 years so bear with me! Also I'm using full-sized uploads but OCN compresses them, so you can check them out in more gooey detail on my Flickr.

So this is the motherboard I've been hiding in my closet for a while.

Got bored one night and mocked it up with my old Rasa and some broken place holder dominators.

New delicious memory! 8GB kit of 2133MHz Platinum's, more pics of those to come.

More shots of the Sabertooth with old RAM.

And now with the new! Sexy tongue.gif

And here's the new PSU for the build:

Oh look! A energy rating!

Yuck! Look at those nasty cables frown.gifsicksmiley.png

The power supply looks good, but what can be done about the spaghetti of colours?

Maybe if I...

Yes! Success! Will take more pictures of the PSU when I get some more cables for it and get closer to putting it in the build.

More bits! Bitspower don't really have a flare for packaging...

...do they? Also the product came scuffed! But it was entirely superficial and rubbed off ^-^

Awesome! It's the product that counts, I never really cared about packaging!

And this is how it goes on the D5/MCP655.

Eh? A mystery box?

Oh! I see biggrin.gif

Ye-yeah!

Started messing with DoV, what do you think?

And here's some more pics of the memory because they deserve it!

Shiny... drool.gif

Came in very nice packaging! But the sticks themselves are much nicer.

Last one!

So how's your router holding up? Have enough screen space? I hope that makes up for the previous lack of pictures! If you want any more of the same stuff just let me know. I also bought some BitsPower sleeve (epic stuff, super cheap, too!) for the pump, fans and other bits I might find.

Next on the list: Sort out a 480mm radiator (and maybe a 240mm too!) and a new waterblock and some other bits and bobs, and then get the case sorted and then get some yummy CZ parts (their site is currently down so they can catch up on orders).

See ya next time!

Just got a EK Supremacy Full Nickel as an anniversary gift biggrin.gif

I'll take some pictures of it with the compression fittings I have and never snapped. I just found out that Terraria got another update (to 1.2) and I'm super keen to play that so it may take headway haha

EDIT: Looky, pictures!

I installed my nice memory in my current build after realising it was pointless having it sitting in the box with the motherboard. Especially since I was using a 4GB stick of XMS3 and things were getting slowy! I think they look great biggrin.gif Reflections on the window is a bit annoying but eh.

Second layer of EK packaging because the first layer got punched up in shipping and had some writing on it (random numbers?).

Sexy waterblock! I've had EK blocks before and an XSPC one but this one's really... big. Heavy, wide, tall. Was quite surprised when I opened it.

Looks good with the motherboard! I installed it with the kit minus the springs because there's no cpu under there haha.

Different angle.

Favourite shot so far biggrin.gif

Also on the case front, I haven't heard anything about it but also haven't been down south much recently to my folks' place. I have a long weekend this weekend so I might go down if not just to pick up the case. Cold Zero is super under the pump at the moment so parts for that would be a while and I have to contact him to ask about custom parts anyways. After my anniversary I'm sort of recovering fiscally so planning out parts but wont be for a week or two until purchase. So far I have the 480, another part of the pump/res assembly that was out of stock, rad gasket and some cables that I forgot the first time around. Kinda bummed the case is taking a while but everyone's been travelling so it's be a little awkward.

Looky! Progress biggrin.gif

Strange as to no comments but I guess that's expected with a long thread with no real updates haha.

I fooled around in sketch up, here's what I came up with.

A possibility.
Depends if I want to get 770 SLi or something like that.

Hey dudes,

Ordered the first batch of ColdZero parts (after the store being closed so the owner could catch up on orders for a few months) so I can get some stuff in and plan where I need to have things cut and fixed. I'm having a custom midplate made up by them with the holes of tubing already cut so I can't mess that up. Lasers are better than drills!

Settled on iATX for come on why not. Will look neato and tube routing should work out better.

Here's what I got:

Woo!
