Do you guys run over clocked 24/7? - Page 2

I run my 7950 in non-demanding games at stock clocks (900/1250).
However, in demanding games I run it at the max in CCC (1100/1575) and it can't go much further beyond that anyway even at 1256mV. Even @ 1150 MHz at that voltage it can't cut it.

I run my 7950 OC'd 24/7 at the max OC it supports at 1.25V.

I was approaching 1.42 for the vcore which made me run a bit hot even with my NH-D14. I prefer lower vcore and lower temperatures overall. Anything above 80c on all the cores (full load) and I start to get anxiety lol.

Hopefully I can upgrade to Ivy-Bridge E at the end of the year. I feel like my 750 is getting kind of outdated lol. I am however picking up a GTX 770 and maybe a second one by the end of the year and I will be running those overclocked. My current 460s are at 900 MHz to the core and are running a bit.....toasty biggrin.gif

i7 3770K @ 4.9GHz daily 24/7 on offsets since September, water cooled, zero trouble. lowest vcore under load per CPU-Z lands around 1.336v (max under load around 1.352v), max temps under Intel Burn Test load below 70C, usually in low 60's depending on ambient.

I run my gpu and cpu overclocked 24/7 cpu at 5ghz and gpus at 1100mhz now i had them at 1150 but they put off a ton of heat so droped it to 1100mhz which only needs stock voltages.

Yes. I run:

One 3770K that is OC'd to 4.8GHz 24/7
Two 3770K's that are OC'd to 4.7GHz 24/7
Two 3570K's that are OC'd to 4.6GHz 24/7
One 2500K that is OC'd to 4.4GHz 24/7
One 2700K that is OC'd to 4.7GHz 16/7

Hopefully in a couple days I'll be adding a 3930K to that like for 24/7 use and with a little luck, it'll be OC'd to 4.6GHz or 4.7GHz.

My answer is yes and no. My CPU is at 3.9GHz and my GPU at 1100 and I do not alter the clocks. But I also leave on the various down stepping features that lower the speed when it is not needed. This means I only get the overclock when I need it.

I run 5.3Ghz on my CPU 24/7 (yes, it's stable) and 1293Mhz core and 7000Mhz VRAM on my GPU but with all power saving enabled so idle still downclocks. The GPU is BIOS flashed with 1.212v BIOS and I put the clocks and such in the BIOS itself so i don't need any programs like MSI AB.
