I'm unsure the exact meaning of the term, but to most average users matched pair should mean matched pair. I wonder if I could RMA them to GSSkill like Chozart suggested earlier....possibly get a better stick??

Are the 275 settings stable??
You can tell if they are a matched pair by looking at the serial #'s on each stick.
They should only be one number apart. If they r not, they're not really a matched pair unless they are binned individually and tested.
My GSkill HZ's like 2.7vdim, 3-4-4-8 1T AT 1:1 divider, 273fsb (got lucky).
See if your mobo undervolts or overvolts.
I would think the TeamXtreme's would do better, Im surprised but the price is right. Get em while you can.

Technically speaking, they are a matched pair. Since they both hit stock speeds without any adjustment to either of them, at least according to this that I read in another forum:

"A matched pair will run at it's rated speed in dual channel operation. A set that is not matched may require a voltage or secondary memory setting to run at it's rated speed that will prevent the other stick from working properly"

Bum deal, I was hoping for an RMA, but I'm sure they'll decline. I mean what do I tell them, "My sticks won't both run at 280mhz.....", even though the main reason I bought them was because I read that they OC very well above and beyond 250mhz.

Sold!! I just bought a set of these. After hearing about some of the results you guys have posted, I couldn't resist. That and the fact that good DDR1 is hard to find at that price these days.

Good luck man!! I hope they do well for you. Keep us posted. That is the same ram I will be getting next month (unless you say they suck) and that is a good price.
