Sapphire Radeon HD 6750 Lagging in BF3 on lowest settings, Possible temp issue (Solved)

Hey guys, my Sapphire Radeon HD 6750 1GB is started lagging out of the blue. before, i could play BF3 on medium settings at around 60FPS, and high settings at around 30-45FPS. Now it seems that even on low settings, and being on smaller maps, the frame rate is very choppy. I havent changed any of the system hardware lately, but it just started lagging. I believe this could be due to high temps, though it seems to start lagging even when i have the fan maxed out and the temp is barely breaking 50C... any help is appreciated.

I am playing at 1360 X 768 resolution and have the 13.1 drivers.

Rest of the specs
AMD Llano A6-3650 2.6GHz
ASUS FM1A75-M PRO
Samsung "Wonder" Ram 8GBs 1600mhz
WD Caviar Blue 1TB
Windows 7

this is multiplayer, and nothing is overclocked, though i did just clear out some registries... i think i'll restart my computer and try again...

btw, it is at a pretty low resolution...
