I always find it funny when people trash a specific brand, especially when they bring up past issue with old boards.
One quick example against ASUS would be the ridiculously low number of fully compatible boards they had when Windows 7 launched, the number of sound cards I had to install for customers with ASUS boards was very high.
My point is, ALL manufacturers have put out lemons from time to time, and many of them have started to introduce great premium products.
ASRock was rolled out as a budget line from ASUS, recent news showed ASUS wanting to buy them back, because they are innovating and producing much better products.
So instead of berating everyone who buys a product you don't like, and accusing them of not being "extreme" overclockers, stick to helpful advice, the rants are hardly on topic now are they?
I have a very long history with computing, my ok skills have kept my Vic20 working to this day, I am however a seldom overclocker, but have decided to have my first everyday overclock in my new rig, being built next week.
Hopefully this won't wind you up too much, I got the Gryphon because of the colour scheme!
Have fun out there guys.
