Well I have the same batch L313 malaysia wink.gif I'll see I have confirmed delivery tomorrow. I was wonderring about Noctua NH-C14 or D14. I took D14 for better temperatures and it's also quieter. I bought another 140mm noctua. I will run D14 with two 140mm fans. So let's see.

For sure I asked my friend, he has little IT shop and if I will return this CPU he's able to get for me L310 BATCH. Which seems is good. I'll see.

Tomorrow I'll try everything you told me.. smile.gif

Please tell me another thing. What voltage in OC, I mean max voltage is still okey for long life of CPU? I guess it's something about 1,35-1,4? Tell me please. Thank you. wink.gif

No one knows yet. Based on Ivy results, which should be roughly the same since they are the same process, 1.35V should be fine for long-term use, and even 1.4V is okay as long as you keep the temps under control (which may be difficult with Haswell). It is the combination of heat and voltage that kills chips, so as long as you keep it cool and don't go crazy with the voltage you should be fine.

Where have all good men gone
And where are all the AMD gods?
Where’s the street-wise Hercules
To fight the BENCHING odds?

Isn’t there a RED knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and turn and overclock of what I need

I need an AMD hero
I’m holding out for a AMD hero ‘til the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong
And he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a AMD hero
I’m holding out for a AMD hero ‘til the morning light
He’s gotta be sure
And it’s gotta be soon
And he’s gotta have larger caps than life

Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest overclock fantasy
Somewhere clocks just beyond my reach
There’s someone reaching BLCK is not for me

Racing on the thunder and rising with the vcore heat
It’s gonna take a super clock to sweep me off my feet

I need a AMD hero
I’m holding out for a AMD hero ‘til the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong
And he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a AMD hero
I’m holding out for a AMD hero ‘til the morning light
He’s gotta be sure
And it’s gotta be soon
And he’s gotta have larger caps than life

Up Where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning VRMS splits the sea
I would swear that there’s someone somewhere
Watching me (overclock)
Through the wind and the aircooled chill and the waterloop rain
And the storm and the flood
I can feel this approach
Like a fire in my cpu blood

I need a AMD hero
I’m holding out for a AMD hero ‘til the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong
And he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a AMD hero
I’m holding out for a AMD hero ‘til the morning light
He’s gotta be sure
And it’s gotta be soon
And he’s gotta have larger caps than life

BTW: I run on internal GPU. Is it affecting CPU voltage and other things? Maybe that's the one of the reason. wink.gif

TO AlDyer: you have i7-4770k batch L310? Thats sounds good at this voltage. wink.gif

It's actually a 4670K smile.gif

Asus doesn't show vring, or vrin. I think its cache voltage maybe? I just match the cache to the vcore.

My batch #L311B204
My stock VID is 1.136v as shown in Ai Suite III (which always reports a voltage about .01v higher than CPU-Z, so I go with Ai Suite just to be on the safe side) when under load with AIDA64 and IBT. Based on what others have said I should be able to get farther than a pathetic 4.1 Ghz at 1.25v, but maybe not...

Also, for everyone, AIDA64 is not a good measure of stability. I strongly recommend you run the latest version of linpack which Intel just released, which makes use of the new AVX2 instruction sets. I've had overclocks that I thought were stable and would run Prime95 Small FFT's for 20 minutes (and probably would have run AIDA indefinitely), which cause my machine to reboot within a couple of minutes when running linpack. Agreed I don't trust Aida for stability. I had what I thought was a 4.6 stable..ran Aida for 3 hrs and no crash, stopped the test and crashed just web surfing...now I rely on IBT for quick test then jump over to OCCT.

Have you/are you going to delid? I was planning to but seeing as my chip is such a poor overclocker I don't think it's worth it. Even bought the CLP and everything... rolleyes.gif
