Btw, time to prime, never did it because people dont reccomend it for haswell, but i guess it wouldnt hurt. 90% of the time i do prime i run blend, perhaps i should try small ftp, because blend cant even touch 70c 4.6ghz 1.27v aka 68c probably gonna leave it to run for the night. Nvm, it did reach almsot 80c
It's good to use small fft for quick stability test, and blend to test your stability when you think you are stable.
I usually dont run entire sequences, just particular blocks, because most stable overclocks gave me repeated crashes in prime95 on these particular problem sizes:
- 21k: if something is wrong with the overclock it will report it within 10min. On normal small fft test this block comes after about 1.5 hour! Just key in 21k as min max.
- 160k: not sure, i think cpu get stressed the most.
- 384k: vcore related. I get it stabalized by adjusting just vcore setting and nothing else.
