I can't get 4.7GHz stable, and I've tried countless of Vcore/VRIN combination.
My settings that remained the same throughout my tests (significant settings):
- Turbo DISABLED
- All C-states ENABLED
- 35x uncore
- 1.05v uncore
- LLC to Extreme
- XMP profile on my memory
- All settings related to memory (system agent, etc.) remained at +0V, default basically
Here's what I tried:
1.32 vcore with VRIN from 1.75-2V (0.05 steps), noticed it lasted longer on P95 (about 30 max.) as VRIN got higher, still not stable enough
1.33 vcore with VRIN from 1.75-2V (0.05 steps), once again, higher VRIN seemed to help stability, max I could run was 3 hours, better than with 1.32 right?
So here is where it starts to get weird
With 1.34 vcore with VRIN from 1.75-2V (0.05 steps), I couldn't get it last longer than 3 hours once again, seems like vcore doesn't help.
Now I'm trying 1.35 vcore, still doesn't seem to help much, I'm testing 1.9 VRIN and tbh I don't except it to be stable
My goal is to get 6 hours stable on P95. Also I never get 0x101 BSOD, always 0x124. The only time I got 0x101 was benching trying to pass 5ghz in cinebench. Looks like adding vcore changes nothing, it has to be some other settings right? The next thing I'll try is VRing, but I still don't understand why adding voltage to uncore would help since I'm only running it at 35 and 1.05v, which are basically my motherboard's default settings, maybe more cpu clocks stresses the uncore and 1.05v isn't enough anymore? Idk... if someone has some suggestion I would appreciate. Thank you
