Yes 1.33 ring worked now im at 4.6 NB and 4.7 core 1.30v ...Isnt the ring voltage a little high tho should I have any worry's that its more voltage than the core maybe I should match the core at 1.3 volts

I did thanks .. I tried 1:1 ratio 4.7/4.7 but no go I went all the way to 1.4 on the ring but no go .. But I did match my core voltage stable so now its 4.6 1.3v ring and 4.7 1.3v core .....Awesome I dont know why theres so many haters for haswell This chip is way faster than my 2500k at 5.0 . My computer is on log in screen in less than 10 seconds boot .. Amazing...

I got a newby dewby question. ASUS boards have a min and max turbo core multiplier setting. I have been setting them to 3.5ghz, since I am not stable at higher uncore setting and a clock speed of 4.6ghz. I am still testing @4.6ghz. and I think I am getting close but here is the question. So do I need to set the min and the max to the same level of 35? If I leave it in Auto I can see my uncore cache voltage increase, so I know it is raising the uncore turbo cache frequency and voltage in auto. This is why I set it to 35 to begin with following the guide in the OP.

I hope I made since, and I can post a screen shot when I get off work from my ASUS Sabertooh z87 if need be. Anyways thanks in advance.

I would put the uncore to at least 4.0 and up the ring voltage to 1.2 v turn off all turbo ..

1.37 volts core

Yo. Care to fill this out?

Username:
CPU Model:
Core Multiplier: [If you used Blck strap, put what Blck and mention your resulting frequency]
CPU VID: This is the CPU core voltage value you input into BIOS.
Vcore: This is the CPU Vcore reading from Hwinfo or HWMonitor under load. "Load" depends on what you're stressing.
Uncore Multiplier:
Uncore Voltage:
Cooling Solution:
Stability Test: [Any test is OK, synthetic or not. List how long test is run.]
Batch Number: [Not required but helps people.]
Ram Speed: [The ram speed you're running. If overclocking or XMP profile, please say so.]

The results will be a part of my thread in my siggy. Grass is greener here. :thumb:
