Laptop CPU fan keeps reving up every when doing light tasks

As above, for example when i'm just doing web browsing, the fan will keep whirring up to high speeds for a few seconds, then dropping down to low or no speeds. Happens every few minutes and it's very loud and distracting.

Is there anything that can be done about this? Like setting it to a constat fan speed instead of revving up constantly.

Brand new laptop, model is Horize P151EM1B Clevo if you are interested.

You can check the BIOS to see if other fan profiles exist but as its a laptop it probably aren't any available.

Edit: Is it a design that has a separate GPU and CPU cooler? The problem is probably the CPU side in this case and if so what I said earlier holds true but if it is the GPU fan then it should be possible to modify the fan profile using MSI afterburner.

Make sure the fan / heatsink fins are not clogged up with fluff n dust

Normally a few good hard blows into the fan intake and exhaust will shift it, if not, open it and clean it

You can get a cooling pad to force air into it constantly that will limit the internal fans revving. They are designed to conserve power so they let heat build then dump it.

The laptop is brand new so i really doubt is a problem....

It has seperate fans for the CPU and GPU, CPU is on the left side and GPU on the right side.

I do have a cooling pad, but the fan noise from it on the lowest setting kind of defeats the purpose of using it to lower the CPU fan speed....

Unfortunately none of those programs can set fan speed for my laptop, and there are no fan profiles in the BIOS....
