A D5 will run a CPU and GPU and 2 rads just fine on the lowest setting.

There is practically no difference running it at highest vs lowest setting.. maybe a couple degrees.

Well that would have to do a lot with the amount of tubing , and which CPU and GPU waterblock he's using ;p

If, for instance, he's going to mount a rad outside his case it will add quite a bit of length.

Build will be as following,

Corsair 350D

XSPC EX240 in top and front.
XSPC Single 5.25 Bay Reservoir
DangerDen UV White Tubing
XSPC RayStorm CPU WaterBlock Intel
XSPC Razor GTX Titan (With Backplate ocf.)
Currently thinking of MCP350 with XSPC Stand and XSPC Acetal Top
Fittings, not researched yet i have no clue which one's are good and which one's arent that good, but i am really limited in my choice as the only shop where i can get them w/o going across the border has only like 4 brands. Will be filled up with distilled water, got loads of it at home xD.

If there is anything out of the ordinary in this setup pls let me know. Allso i dont know how to loop my system, i was thinking of res>pump>rad1>cpu>rad2>gpu>back to res, a lot of tubing will be in the case but i dont think that matters as airflow is no longer a big concern. But what i would really like to know is if it matters weither i go from cpu directly to gpu w/o the rad in between as i can imagine that the temps will be higher, but it would look alot cleaner.

Any suggestions on fittings and how to run my loop are welcome xD.

Thanks for your input allready guys!

I originally started with two D5 pumps with manual speed knob adjuster running in serial. The pumps are mounted in my system in such a way that makes access to the speed knob a pain in the butt so I decided to switch to the PWM version and that was the best decision I made in my build.

I've been using a Swiftech MCP35X for about two months now. I'm running it off my motherboard's CPU PWM header. I manually set it using the BIOS' arbitrary power levels, from 1-9. It's completely silent from settings 1-3. Only around setting 5+ is it noticeable. I've also done some testing regarding flow rate vs temps. From setting 1 to 9, my max CPU temp only dropped 2C but with a massive noise output.

Hmm still struggling with what pump to get but bwck to the loop order. Take a look at my previous post (second half) l.

Put the second rad between cpu and gpu or one before and one after, letting the cpu flow straight into the gpu. Is it worth having more tubing for the rad in between or or just go with the cleaner look? Someone got experience with temp diffrences?

There will be minimal differences in temperature so I would go for the cleaner look.

Knowledge, not from personal experience, but ask pretty much anyone on the forum and they will agree. The water is moving so fast the loop that it does not much difference at all.
