Linkworld Venuz 500W - quality

Hey guys. I have a Linkworld Venuz 500W PSU. This is going to power a 7850 + 940BE only, not gonna OC (Uses under 300W on load) The main capacitor is provided by Fuhjyyu @ 85C. All the other caps are provided by Fuhjyyu too, rated at 85-105C. What is the quality of Fuhjyyu these days? Heard they had problems 2002-2006, but what about now? I'm not wanting to use more money on a new PSU. Just wanna know, is this PSU sufficient enough. I've heard bad things about Linkworld too, but idk about this unit...

'High Quality', meh idk

Well, the dual rails can provide 384W. It's more than enough for a 940BE and a 7850 setup? Not pushing the PSU to it's limits though. In reality the 7850 uses a little under 100W during GPU intensive gaming. 940BE has 125W TDP. The PSU has 80 plus certification too. But do you know what quality caps fuhjyyu has now on the market? Are they decent?
http://www.10stripe.com/articles/who-made-your-power-supply.php Hear reads that Linkworld itself is the OEM.

It does not matter what Linkword says

Many times the low end brands flat out lies and 80 plus has zero to do with quality so disregard that as well

I bet that unit cant do 500 watts i would take at least 10% off the rated wattage maybe as much as 20-25%

Well, you seem to be hearing what everyone else is hearing about Linkworld and Fuhjyyu. Linkworld is famous for stuff like this:
http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=123

That said, the unit you're looking at seems to be a little better than that, probably. But this definitely isn't the kind of OEM whose power supplies get sent out to reviewers.

I'm not sure about the Fuhjyyus these days, but if you look at what the large PSU sellers are using, it's not Fuhjyyus. I mean, Samxon, OST, etc. get panned sometimes by enthusiasts, but you see those in regular use in budget units by companies that mostly know what they're doing.

Fuhjyyu are marginal to acceptable these days, depending on whose talking, but not an indication of "quality." Not desirable.
Best mention I can find for Linkworld is some are "not horrid."
Nothing specific to this unit.
Inwin does some slim cases with decent 300watt power supplies, about $70 on newegg. Do not see any Inwin Just psu priced well, appears many old design undesirable units
Post a pic of the power label, might help.

My friend had this PSU in his system (i5 3470 + 7850 for few months) worked without problems. I suggested him to change the PSU to a SF GG 500w as he upgraded the GPU to a 7950.
But I can say that the 940BE + 7850 system uses roughly 280 watts, which should not be a problem to this PSU...

Let me ask you would you really like to risk your PC by having a PSU in your PC which you know next to nothing about

Just got this today from my friend. Yeah idk why he bought this at the first place, as i had recommended him other good PSU brands. He bought this from Russia, it's the only place where these are sold. There are no reviews about this PSU, i've searched.. but what's your opinion, is the power label trustable/untrustable..
