Are you dropping down all of your multiplied values (i.e., CPU frequency, DRAM frequency, NB, and HT Link)? Check to make sure you're keeping an eye on all of those. If you miss even one, it can cause instant instability, even with a very small bump like 5–6 MHz.

Havent tried that will try that later today! Ty for your answer!

Tried to change NB and HT values and i can change them but they still show up as fixed values after save and reboot? So cant change those, damn gigabyte bios. NB is fixed at 2200mhz and ht fixed at 2600mhz.

You should still be able to adjust those values. You just need to tweak the multiplier for it, much like with the CPU. Remember, the bus speed is a reference clock from which the rest of the speeds I listed are calculated. Increasing it will increase all of the other values. That's why you're losing stability with no idea what's wrong. Even though you only directly adjusted one number, several other components were affected by it. There's no telling exactly what's stopping you from booting because too many variables were changed! Study your BIOS/refer to your manual to see if you can change the NB and HT link. It should give you a way to adjust the multiplier on those.

Thats the thing i can set them both at 2200 wich seems like a good setting, but even when i change them they remain the same fixed number after save bios and reboot! I will google and try to fix this and read manual. thanks for your advice meantime biggrin.gif

bugged bios, raise a bit of your cpu-nb voltage or leave HT at 2400Mhz, you can also change you ram settings for a lower divider to see if it's a ram limit.
