Starcraft 2 with Two 7950s

So I just got a second 7950 for BTC mining, so I didn't setup crossfire. Starcraft 2 has some issues though. Once I start playing a game, it will freeze at some point and after that artifact for the rest of the game. Any way to resolve this?

Thanks in advance!

Just make an application profile and disable crossfire for SC2. Pretty sure 1 7950 is overkill for that game anyway

Oh, you didn't setup crossfire.

Try uninstalling your drivers, switching the position of the cards, then re-installing. Worked for me when nothing else did. http://www.overclock.net/t/1150200/its-the-6850-from-hell-help

Tool is here

You also might try adding a crossfire bridge anyway. My 6850s get fussy without one tongue.gif

I will try driver reinstall, but I just finished my water loop, so moving the cards would be slightly more painful. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Starcraft works fine if I disable the second gpu and starts out fine with both, but runs into issues mid game.

I'll try adding crossfire in too, but I'm a little worried it will kill my mining speeds.

got the same with my two 7870xt's

game just freezes once, goes to the desktop and back and then works fine again. Some slight graphic corruption

I had the same problem with the 13.6 beta drivers. I rolled back to 13.5 and it seems fine.

The game runs like crap on my rig w/ 7950CF, not sure why, and I've tried multiple drivers. Just raged out of the Supernova mission, the fps keep dropping to 15-20 every so often. Some missions it hovers at 40fps most the time. Me and others have no idea why, I never had this issue with 6950 CF, and I've tried disabling CF and it still happens, 2 win7 x64 installs, SSDs, etc, it should not be my rig.

Something is seriously wrong and no one knows what

ANd when it sticks to 40fps, its like its locked there, GPU clock doesn't affect it, and neither does my 2500k OC.
