Please! Need some help with Water Cooling my PC. (3770k, Titans & 800D)

Hi people's,

I'm always looking for a project and Ive pretty much done all I can do now with my setup. Im now looking to water cool my PC. Ive never thought about it before because I've been scared but now I think its time to give it a crack.

Im still undecided if I need a 3rd GTX Titan or just stay the course with the 2 I have. I running 3x 1080p 144hz monitors in Portrait surround. Im getting above 100fps in most games but GRID 2 smashed me down to mid 60's ~ 70's. I havent even played Crysis 3 or Far Cry 3 yet!!! LOL

So any help would be appreciated, I dont mind going a little over the top either for what works & looks good!!! I'm also pretty handy with the tools and I'm a Mechanical Fitter by trade and worked at the local water authority for 5 years so I know what a pump, fittings, hoses are. lol However Ive never done this stuff with computers.
If you have any experience with this gear and know what is a good component and what works well together I would love your help. I really would appreciate any help!!! Thanks

Here is my PC specs
Case: Corsair 800D
CPU: i7 3770k
MB: ASUS Maximus V Extreme
RAM: ARES 16gb Ram
GPU's: 2-Way SLI GTX Titan's
PSU: Corsair AX1200i
HDD: Corsair Vertex 4 256gb, Corsair Vertex 3 256gb & Seagate 2tb HDD.

So I guess I will need -
Pump
res tank
radiator
gpu water blocks
hose
various fittings
More fans

My current setup. (the second shows my old 680s they are now Titans)
Corsair 800d Case with the side panels off.

Well in terms of radiators for 2 grpahics card and the cpu you will want 540mm of rad space as the general rule of thumb is that you should have 120mm of rad for each block and then an extra 120mm for head room. The 800D only fits a 360mm rad natively in the top but it can be modded to have a 240mm in the bottom by removing the hard drive cages. To do that I would follow this guide,
http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=81698
I recently did it this way and it was very useful.

Ye XSPC kits are great starter kits. Then on top of that you can get the 240mm radiator and graphics card blocks and however many extra fittings you need, 6 I think.

for what I know heres my recommendations the best fluid is this ice dragon http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g30/c337/s1600/list/p1/Liquid_Cooling-Coolant_-_Brand-Ice_Dragon_Fluids-Page1.html If you can put up with milk white liquid. and go to frozen cpu You can build a custom for about the same price but better components such as a supremacy block, this very fast water pump http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13148/ex-pmp-132/Alphacool_VPP655_Variable_Speed_Pump_-_HF_Top_Edition.html and probably a thicker radiator

I agree.. Even my clear UV-reaktive water premix left some particles in the water, so I switched to Distilled water + adjectives.. no particles or problems anymore smile.gif
I'd say: Go with coloured tubing instead of coloured water. But im sure there are some safe dye's on the market if you really want it smile.gif

360 +240mm rad will work great for your setup, hell.. it might even be enough for that 3rd Titan, should you choose to get one.. or though I dont know if they get any hotter then lower end graphics cards?

Good luck with the project!! cant wait to see the progress wink.gif
