And there's no reason stats & friends couldn't be in-game and on the web, tons of games do that already.

The load time is so low how is that even relevant. And even if it wasn't instead of staring at a stupid load screen and listening to worse in-game music you can do other things while it loads.

Besides it was only 23$ much better than the 50-60 originally.

I dont think everyone will jump ship and forget about bf3 when 4 is released, look at modern warfare 2 you still see people playing that.

Plus dont forget, you said you got premium for $23, you can still play bf4 for at least a couple months, maybe up to 6 months before bf4 is released. Plenty of gaming time.

We expected quality innovative maps, but instead they made boring non-addictive empty-looking maps with totally no destruction. DICE forced us to dislike their dull big maps, and eventually forced me to like small maps like Noshar Canals Team DM. I never expected that, but that happens when they control our 'liking' and force us COD style gameplay.

Oh and BF4 will even have more small maps they said.

As thestache said, the low load times make it so it's not really a problem. However, it is possible to join new servers now without having to relaunch the game. Simply alt-tab and join a new server and voilà, no need to close and relaunch the game. Either way, it's better than dealing with a clunky in-game server browser.

Have you played any of the DLC maps? Aftermath and End Game's are excellent. I haven't really played Armored Kill's maps but I've heard good things about them as well. I personally like Close Quarters' maps as well since they're actually pretty well laid out and feature a lot of routes and not as many kill-funnels as some of the vanilla maps.

I hope ARs are not the only option for infantry combat and shotguns become useful (make it like the crossbow ammo switch).
