it is a somewhat thin sheet of Plexiglass or acrylic cut down to size with a dremel and painted. the original idea was to have mesh glued over the clear plate so that it was semi see through with a LED under the mesh shining through but it did not work out

new idea that i need some insight on. White panel with black modmesh HEX laid over it?

That would work possibly quite well.

This is what it looks like with just white paper over the plate

I'm a fan of the white and the white with black mesh. With the mesh, I think some black edging would look nice, to cover the rough edges of the mesh.

Make a log man this sounds awesome, I have an R4 as well. I'm quite interested, but I'm not sure if it would work out since I'm planning to put a radiator in the front.

Ah. I've been wondering if I could fit another rad and fans there for the future, do you have the dimensions for that rad? And are there fans behind it?

269mm x 128mm x 29mm

and yes 2 120mm fans are on top in pull config. With this mobo there is no way to do push pull, for that matter it makes no difference in temps anyway

i had to offset mount the rad in the given holes on top to get it to clear the mobo btw
