"League of Legends" Laptop - Help!

Thread Starter
Well I am looking for a laptop to do basic internet tasks and league of legends.

Right now I have a Asus A53T. It has the A6 AMD 6720G2 and it does do an alright job running LoL. However, I can only get it to run good on Medium settings with shadows off. I would really like to get something that can run LoL on high with no hiccups.

I don't want to spend much on something I will be only playing one game on so I am going to put my budget at $500.00 or less.

If anyone knows of any 'hidden' gems let me know. I expect to buy something used. I do not have a preference on screen size or anything else.

Thanks guys!

never expect great gaming results out of a mid grade laptop. The laptop you have now isn't too bad, and for $500 i'm not sure what your gonna find that's gonna do all that much better. I'd keep it.

Well I know they are out there. A Asus G72 or G73 will max out league easily, and they can be had for $500.00 or less.

My laptop I currently have was $300.00, and like I said it does play League at medium settings with no problems. Oh and your right this little thing amazes me! I actually ran Skyrim on this will little hiccups here and there. I definitely plan on keeping it, heck I may even give it to the old lady! haha

What really needs to be considered is that LoL requires next to nothing to really max it out. I'm just looking at a laptop that I may have missed. Heck, a Alienware M11x with a 335M will nearly max out league at native resolutions. I don't really understand why someone would pay $800.00 for a USED laptop just to play LoL.

The point of my reply is, you DO NOT have to spend that much money to play games anymore. Especially if you don't mind buying used systems.

So if anyone knows of any used systems that I should check into please let me know! Thanks for the help so far gentlemen!
