Is this normal to get up to 85C when gaming? I had the fan on auto. If I turn it on manual what should i put it at?

It idles at about 45C ...MY CPU idles at about 40C Are these normal?

What you should do is use a utility such as MSi Afterburner to setup a custom fan curve to keep the temperature within a range of your liking.

Thanks...But do you know whats normal temps under load? and at idle?

That's not normal, even my 7950 won't go that high whilst gaming, it reaches the high 60's at most and idles around 36C

Is your case hot? plenty of airflow?

That side of the case has a big fan on it... And the rest of the fans are working it isn't dusty..... Idk what can be causing it.

That seems a little bit high.

Running Crysis 3 on maxed settings, FXAA, and 14x antistropic, @ 1920x1080 averaging 45fps, my maximum temp after 2 hours was 71C.

This is at 1225MHz core and 1500MHz memory speeds, +20% board power, and 1.199vcore under load. Custom fan profile:
25c - 40c : 0%-25%
40c - 45c : 25%
45c - 60c : 25% - 50%
60c - 80c : 50% - 100%

What are your room temperatures? My room's temperatures are extremely high and I also see such high temps (in idle) with my sig rig.

Around 23 ambient. my 840 Pro usually reads 23c as well. Idle is usually 44-45 when I happen to check it every so often.

Edit: just checked after 15 min system idle: 41c

If those are the ambient temps then I think it's something wrong with your cooling performance. My ambient is 30~ and I'm yet to see my GPU crossing 72s and CPU 62s. I know, I know your GPU is faster than mine by a long shot but yours also has dual fans compared to mine which has only one.
