What type of BIOS.... - Page 3

I guess QFlash your bios update utility. Once you have your bios on your floppy just open QFlash and tell it to update bios from floppy. If you wanted to be extra careful you could save your current bios to another floppy just in case the flash goes bad... though if it does chances are you wont even be able to access the bios. Its really not that hard to do, just make sure you system isnt overclocked while doing it, and follow instructions and you should be ok.

It DOES need to be a boot device! Since it is not advisable to flash in a Windows environment.

Also, when using a CD, make sure it's bootable...

I should finish my post before I submit it. Dumb question, how do I create a bootable disk?

The program you use to burn CD's should have an option to make a bootable one.

Last one... After I make a bootable, do I also copy the BIOS updates to that disk or to a new one?

You can dump all on the same disk.
