you won't see the difference in games. i don't with the 7950 and 7970. both stock. you do know that the 770s are out, right? get the 4GB.

edit: what games do you play?

First of all thanks for the quick reply.Well the thing is that I already own an hd 7970 the sapphire one with a reference pcb and a non reference cooler I upgraded from an hd 6870,and I was thinking of replacing my hd 7970 for a zotac gtx 670 amp because I thought that maybe it will be a little faster.
The games that I'm running are crysis 2,crysis 3,nfs hot pursuit,LANoire,Dead space 3,Call of Juarez Gunslinger and Far cry 3.
What fps are u getting at crysis 3 and what settings?

Replacing it with a GTX 670 would be a downgrade, don't do it.

A GTX 670 would be a downgrade for you. You said your 7970 has an aftermarket cooler, why not overclock it? That would be much more worth your time and money.

C3 is weird. fps will vary a lot indoors and outdoors. i play it at High with 4MSAA (my preference). Sure i can set it at Very High but will give up on other settings. with my i7SB at 4.5GHz it still dips to the 30s. but like i said, C3 is weird that even at 30 fps minimum it plays smoothly. no single card will max that game.
