Hiya, welcome to the build log of my primary rig.
This is sort of like a continuous upgrading project, I am always getting new things for it, and I use it quite actively.

So, here I shall take you through what stage I am currently at, and what I will be doing in the coming year or so.

So, to start with, here is the PC. It has a Pentium G620, 2GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM, 320GB Hitachi HDD, XFX Core Edition PRO 750W PSU, HAF 912 Advanced, ASRock B75M-R2.0, LG DVD-RW Drive.
The total cost so far for me has been roughly $500.

Sorry for terrible quality, I am using an iPod Touch 4th gen for my photos. Will get a nice camera soon.

Anyways, so here is the sidepanel. I took out the original crappy window, and I will be replacing it with this UV reactive acrylic.

I have ordered a new GPU for it, a secondary Sapphire Vapor-X HD 6770. May need to order a bridge if I can't find one, but that is no big deal.

Processed By eBay with ImageMagick, R1.1.1.M1

Unfortunately, that sort of ruins the colour scheme, but oh well.

Now, here are my plans.

1- Once GPU and stuff are all installed, get an i5 4670K and the Asus Maximus VI Formula. At the same time, I will get a temporary Hyper 212 to manage until I can afford the watercooling setup.
2- Watercool!!! Not quite sure, still drawing my pictures, but I wish to get a 240mm rad for the chipset + CPU setup, and a 120mm rad for the GPU setup. Not that I am watercooling 2x 6770, that will come after new gpu....
3- New GPU!!! Probably a GTX 770, it looks like a fairly good deal to me. However, if I see a GTX 680 or HD 7970 for cheaper, I will grab one of those.
4- Lots and lots of RAM!!! I hope to get 16GB worth at least in one blow, but if I can be bothered I will max it out at 32GB (4x 8GB).
5- Lighting!!! I want red!
6- Sound, other small nitty gritty details.

So, scheming. As you can tell, I already have a red-black sort of setup running, with the red GPU and red LEDs on the case. I would like to stick with that. The PSU looks amazing with the case, the acrylic will only really allow for you to see the lights and a little bit of detail, so the ROG logo above the PCI-E on the Maximus VI Formula will look awesome. Because the side panel is UV reactive, sometime across the course of this rig's existence I will have to buy myself a UV fan for the back of it. That gives me a great opportunity to get a nice Gelid Wing fan, which I absolutely adore but only come in blue and UV.

Make sure to stay tuned, within the next 3 or 4 weeks I will make sure to make a good load of updates, next weekend I will cut out the sidepanel window and a replacement CPU will arrive by then (that is the G620, which is for an HTPC when I upgrade).
I shall have to get more RAM soon too, the Corsair Vengeance looks good, as I will be watercooling the size isn't an issue to me.

Anyways guys, have a good week, and stay safe!!! I shall get out a new update soon!

I installed the sidepanel, decided to simply cut it with the grinder, and it really doesn't matter as it is layered on top of anyways. Looks badass, great to finally have that in. I went for two months with no sidepanel.

I also installed the stock USB 3 thing into the front.

Ordering a G2020 tomorrow, that should get it working. Also ordering some Corsair Vengeance, I shall make sure to make a post when I get it in.

Installed the HDDs today too, the stock Cooler Master 2.5" mount did a good job. The one on the bottom is the 320GB drive I will use for booting, the top one a 160GB. Both Hitachi drives.

Anyways, now it's a waiting game.

Enjoy the declining week

Ordering the G2020 and more RAM tomorrow, pictures will come when they arrive. I have also been thinking about modding the front panel a little, but I am not sure what to do. If you have any ideas that would still be industrial looking, make sure to leave a note.
