560ti worth it for folding?

Thread Starter
Hello, I'm looking into buying a card for gaming but that also folds very good. Is it still worth today to buy a 560ti for folding? I heard the 500 series are better for folding than 600 series and that the 7000series are even better. Should I buy a 560ti for 100 euro? Or a 7850-7870-7950. Do keep in mind I only have a 400w PSU, albeit a good quality one.
Noise and power consumption is also a concern as I will be folding 24/7 and sleeping in the same room.

For price/perf get a 7870. That'll fold more, be better for gaming, and should fit within your 400 watt PSU constraints.

Folding on a 7870 @ 1100 would get you around 45-50k PPD

a 560 ti...just a guess, but maybe in the 30's

The 500 series cards were better on the initial beta WUs and Core 15. The 600 series cards now outperforms the 500 series cards on Core 17. Not being from Europe, I can't say what you can get for 100 euro.
