Samsung 830 Woes

About a week ago I ran AS SSD on my 830 and scored around 605 or something. Read speed was about 520 something and writes were about 320 something. I didn't take a screenshot because everything looked normal. Today I noticed Samsung had a version of magician for windows 8 that I didn't know was out. So i downloaded it and set it to "performance mode" of the 3 user profiles. I then discovered that I never got around to optimizing my ssd after I first set it up at the end of last year. After changing the settings and rebooting, running ssd optimization, and then running the benchmark my read speeds are high but my write speeds pooped out on me. They were very very low at 36 and when I ran AS SSD it was taking forever so I cancelled it. Obviously something bad has happened here. Any ideas? The drive is only a boot drive with a few games installed on it.

I was able to get it cleared up. Something funky happened but all is good now after I reinstalled Windows. I was wanting to do it anyway so this gave me a chance to see if it was a software glich or hardware problem.
