What happens now? Artifacts?

So I finally set up my mind and got the pair of GTX 670. In my initial tests they seem to do fine but whenever I am at the log in screen of windows, like when you see the logo flying in, if you enable GUI boot, I get a strip of horizontal artifact out of nowhere. The place is random too.
I never had any issues with my past cards. And I tested in single card mode, SLI mode, installed the drivers that it came with, updated it, still there. I did a whole fresh windows installation with the latest driver straight from nVidia and it is STILL THERE!

However, I have yet to see any strips in games though, I tested BF3 and Tomb Raider. BF3 is running pretty good however, slight microstuttering(fixable?). But I will keep looking.

The benchmarks were fairly nice, got X6357 in SLI mode. But yea, the potential artifact strip annoys me.

Is there a way to find out that the graphics cards are causing the problems? Because I have no issues with my past cards, none of them.

And there was NO overclocking done at the startup sso overclocking factor can be eliminated, it was a fresh installation.

And I just tested Crysis 3, I didn't even get to play it and I'm seeing the problem as per screenshot, the screen first flickered and then MSI afterburner turned pink on the Edges?

Currently in Crysis 3 I have 98% in both GPU usage

If I read your posts right you have no issues with a Single 670?
When you run SLI 670's you have crashing in games?

What type of Power Supply are you using? Model? Wattage?
Sounds like a power issue to me.

Corsair HX750 is my power supply, and I havent tested out single card gaming yet. But the strip of horizontal artifact is still present using the single card, diabled SLI.

And I think you misunderstood me lol. The game didn't crash, it just ended, and it only happens in Crysis 3 once. Didn't yet encountered one in BF3 or Tomb Raider

Ok, ya that should be enough power.
If you have artifacting using all stock settings with the GPU then I'd suspect it is faulty.
You could try using a program like Afterburner or Precision to increase the voltage a small amount to see if it stops the artifacts, which then might be ok, but if it is artifacting right out of the box I'd replace it.

So I unstalled the 320.18 driver and installed 314.22. Problem did not go away, I will try to take a video of what's happening. Happens in SLI as well as single GTX 670
