1) At 2:54, the guy's health goes from 22% to 100% in 4 seconds flat. Is that on ultra-easy mode or what?
2) Supernova sun and massively exaggerated light sources haven't gone anywhere, I was squinting through half the trailer. I guess it's just a Battlefield thing now to mercilessly assault the player's eyes with unrealistic bloom.
3) Seems suppression doesn't affect aim/accuracy in SP, it only blurs the screen similar to BF2. I sincerely hope the same is true for MP.
4) Looks extremely linear with scripted vehicle sections and scripted action sequences where the game takes control of the camera and forces you to look at what can only be interpreted as the devs at DICE screaming "LOOK AT WHAT FROSTBYTE ENGINE CAN DO! LOOK AT IT!!
" (so no changes from BF3, haha).
Overall I started to get bored by the 3 minute mark and that's got to be some kind of new record for a gameplay trailer. What is the difference between BF SP and CoD SP at this point? Because I honestly can't tell. If you took away the interface and lowered the resolution a bit, I would tell you "oh this looks like it could be CoD:Ghosts". It's just one linear sequence after another where the player gets tossed around and follows a bunch of soldiers yelling orders at him, getting carted along from one set piece to the next.
Christ guys, don't all try to mix things up at the same time Edited by Tippy - 6/10/13 at 1:56pm
