The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Debut Gameplay gives you an exclusive sneak peek into the vast and gritty world of Geralt of Rivia, the witcher.
My goat, can't wait. Open world

I do it my way

No stupid 'tunnel' or on rails feeling when you really can't do anything meaningful in a game, only killing tones of mindless NPCs

If there is just one game that absolutely everyone must buy, it is the Witcher 3. Not just because the game itself is going to be incredible, but the company behind it deserves every penny for their tireless work, dedication to their community and refusal to turn to horrible DRM and other publishing bull droppings. I have always loved the Witcher series, probably my favourite of all time. I hope we will see another Witcher game after this conclusion to the saga.

Looks sick. I need to be getting the Witcher 2, and heck maybe even Witcher 1. Will I miss out on a lot if I skip to to Witcher 2?
BTW, this game will melt computers.

I would recommend playing TW1. It gives you some insight into the story in TW2 (little things, basic outline, etc.). Important for the story imo, but not to an extent where you couldn't enjoy it starting from 2.

I see. I have seen it on sale for about 1.73€, I might pick it up for that price.

So I noticed 2 out of the 4 CG cuts. Unless the mermaid/thing was CG as well in case there's 3.

0:25, 1:22, and the mermaid at 1:05....

Anyone see which one I am missing? Opening at 0:05? They might be counting the two cuts at 0:25.

I bet they are part of the Witcher's 3 intro movie.

You can enjoy the 3 games separated, but the experience wouldn't be complete. You'll get insight as to why (I'm gonna avoid spoilers) white bearded guy think and acts the way he does. And believe me, after playing The Witcher 1&2, you're gonna be as (SPOILER) as him.

Now, do your homework and run to buy and play them cause CDProjektRED deserves every bit of money, it's one of the last AAA artisan developers, so much mastercraft into every bit of their games.
