Do you want more fps in Battlefield 3?

I just found this grate tool called realware bf3 settings editor.
http://bf3.realmware.co.uk/settings-editor/

To get a big boost disable DX deferred CS Path in the console commands tab. To get more lower shadow map resolution.
Disabling dx 11 might help as well.
Changing your maximum fps will help the game run smoother. I set mine to 35 maximum and it made the game allot more enjoyable. Keep in mind xbox 360 runs at 30fps.
Before I would get spikes of 50 FPS then drop down to 30fps witch caused a huge stutter, now every thing is smooth.

The 'DX deferred CS Path' command has nothing to do with shadow resolution, it simply enables/disables frostbite's 2 compute shader lightning path which can , under some circunstances, improve your framerate on large open areas but it reduces your framerate when having multiple light sources (for example near a fireplace), so it comes with a downside.
