You DO realize Windows OS has been doing that design concept long before Android, right?
Get out of your little Android bubble and open your eyes. Android has not invented jack insofar as design concepts except the slide down menu. Get over it, bro. Android stole from Windows just like Apple did. The only difference is I can trace the genesis of it whereas you like to point credit to Android while bashing Apple for it. The irony expressed is too much and universal.
edit: also here is a more accurate picture of the homescreens:
[img]Notice how a little less than 50% of the home screen is already eaten up by a giant useless battery eating widget? Also look at how entirely ugly the Android icons are by default. The Phone and Contacts buttons are giant blocky ad look like they spawned out of Windows ME. The font they used is bland - like Comic Sans finally got his GED and works at Walmart. Meanwhile throughout all of this you have a Camera icon that looks absolutely spectacular. The difference here is that Apple actually puts thought into their design concepts whereas Samsung/Android phones just poo out whatever they want in incremental updates that Apple haters savagely gorge down on. If you REALLY look at the micro designs on both phones, Android has and will continue to look like it is from the 90's while iOS Windows OS and even Blackberry are ahead. Like HONESTLY could you use an uglier green for your phone icon and a crappier orange for your contacts? Could you Messaging icon look any more boring? Lol yeah you're out of your element. iOS is even better looking now than it was before. The only difference was before it was miles ahead of Android. Now it is light years.Edited by j3st3r - 6/12/13 at 10:50pm
