These are the speeds i'm currently running at:

Been meaning to ask...., now that you have had it a while, most of of the sky BIOS users I talked to where getting better OCs but benchies didn't change much if at all, what success are you seeing there.

So what if when I try and flash my bios that it states that, with either bios from asus website or from skyn3t, they do not match. Yet they are for the correct cards. Why would I not be able to flash them?

Is there anyone here with coil whine?...mine 2 months after i have bought started whining and is getting worst...frown.gif does any one know how to fixe it! I went to the store a i tested with another GTX 780 DC2 in my pc and it whined too, but much less...mine as 69,9 ASIC and the other 67,3... Should i switch the graphics card?

Try a different PSU if you can. Mine had coil whine right off the bat, switched to a newer PSU, problem solved.

Hi everyone, I bought recently a gtx 780 DCUII and I've got a problem...

before this card I run with a gtx 780 Zotac amp ! and in the Tme raider's benchemark with an oc of 1051/1567 I have :

-gtx 780 Zotac amp : min fps : 38.9 Asus gtx 780 DCUII : min fps : 31.1
max fps : 62.1 Max fps : 60.3
av fps : 51.6 av fps : 44.9

I tried to overcloked the Asus stronger but the min ips stayed arround 31....before that I have overckloed the card by pushing the temp on 90 and the power target. (I was followed a website indication) But after 15 minute of gaming the pc reboot and i smell the smoke. So I open my tower ( master cooler silencio 450) and reboot the PC.
Since this bad times, my card run correctly but I don't understand 3 things :

1) why, with the same frequences of my past Zotac Amp ! my bench are so different ?

2) why GeForce experience told me to run Titanfall at max setting, and I could not keep the 60 frames at ultra +MSAAX2 (with the Zotac it was almost ok at ultra+MSAAX8).
GPU tweak says that the game use all my vram !

3) the green led of the card, light occasionally when my pc is completly off

All of this could be link to the bad overclocking ?

Please help and sorry for my English.redface.gif

oh, I forgot my pc spec : I5 3570k , 8gig ssd 128 samsung, msi z77a g 45

anyone ? ohno-smiley.gif

The fps difference sounds more like a driver issue, if the clocks were actually the same. What utility are you overclocking with? Some people report bad experience with Asus GPU tweak. Try the same one you used with the Zotac or EVGA's utility.

Concerning the green led, there are two green leds on the Asus. Make sure both are green. They will continue to glow for a short amount of time after pc shutdown. Anytime you smell smoke, not good. Inspect all components for any damage, especially motherboard and PSU. Lets hope it was not the graphics card.

u said temps at 90? yeah you killed that GPU

if you overclock anything you have to make sure you have the proper cooling

they don't like to go above 70c let alone near 90 at 70 the flux leaks or something
post #509 of 565
No I didn't say that MY temp was at 90. I say, I push the GPU temp target to 92, like a bench of a website guys recommanded. But I don't know at what temp I really pushed my GPU. For instance the Gpu doesn't go over 68 in the most demanding game.

A different PSU didnt eliminate the coil whine problem...

Is this idle power consumption 10.7%-10.9% and the 12v (12.48v) normal values for this graphics card?

Thanks
