Upgrade from GTX 570 SLI for 1440p to 670 or 770?

What card would be the best value? My 570's aren't doing it anymore with my new dell U2713HM.

The most powerful choice would be the 770. Its increased memory bandwidth should help you out at 1440.

That's what I'm leaning towards. Is the EVGA superclocked version worth it over the regular one?

well if it's a vram related issue then any of the new cards with 2gb or more should be fine but honestly you are going to find gaming performance (non-vram related) probably not as big a difference or possibly less than your 570's.

I also have SLI 570's now in my backup rig and I went with a 690 to replace them and have been very satisfied. I also am using the same cpu & motherboard as you though I run mine at 4.8. I'm also running a 120hz monitor at 1080p.

Honestly I would suggest 670 SLI with 3gb cards if possible and could probably find some second hand at a great price as more people sell and move to the 7 series.

Yeah, I have 570 sli on a 1440 screen and feel like I'd need to spend $800 to see a noticeable improvement by way of a 780 or SLI'd somethings. Actually, on my 'Go To' game of BFBC2 my only complaint about the 570's was the noise but I enabled VSync and dropped the res on that game to 1080 and all of a sudden my cards are pretty much silent. When the GF isn't home to be bothered by the noise I'll put the headphones on and put the res back at 1400. That might not be the ideal solution for a lot of enthusiasts but I like seeing that $800 in my savings account.

Consider a 7970, it would have a better value in 1440p.
Otherwise, their is no point in getting the 670, get the gtx 770

^How much of an improvement is a single 770 over 570 SLI? I doubt it's very much and he might even lose FPS, unless OP thinks he can sell his 570's for some decent cash.
