Yep and with the new consoles running on x86 the porting issues should be a thing of the past.

Raul Saoods (spelling?) words were based on nothing more than hearsay. I really wouldn't take that article, or any article that relates to it, as stone cold fact.

Actually there has been several cross platform games since that age old article, and there looks to be more up and coming on the next generation of consoles.

It's not quite a fact but they still have yet to announce whether or not they will give us a PC version and small quotes like that may reflect how they feel towards the platform. I hope you're right but it wasn't a clever thing to say, maybe it was taken out of context.

Destiny looks pretty cool though and hopefully they change their view (if the article is right) and give us the game.

I leave this here.

“I’d say we would absolutely love to be on PC,” Parsons said. “If you go upstairs and talk to the people upstairs, we play on all platforms. So stay tuned.”

And this from the comments section, someone who actually sees it for what it was meant to be...

That "keyboard and mouse" comment is taken out of context> :|. They're talking about how before Halo people thought shooters could only be played with keyboard/mouse. No one thought that a shooter could still be popular using just a controller, but Bungie proved otherwise.

Most of this sort of crap reported isn't factual. It's PC gamers getting worked up over sensationalist journalism and then blowing it way out of proportion.

I'm happy with that now, a friend of mine is a console gamer and he's getting a PS4 and he himself thinks that games should be made on PC and ported to console, that way we all win. Hopefully the XB1 isn't so damn weak that developers go the other way around, I know the OS for the XB1 takes up 3GB of the 8, which is alright... for now and it's supposed to be 1.2Tflops but downclocked to 0.9Tflops? compared to the PS4's 1.8.

I don't know if all that is true or not but MS have been hit hard, especially after Sony's conference and I didn't see what was so great about their conference? Multiplatform games, PC and Xbox One only games, few indie games, HALO & Forza (didn't see that coming) and Ryse, which seems alright.

I know, I've read that before but they keep skipping the question, I hope they mean it and announce it soon.

Some of us do get carried away and I've read that a long while back, I'm not worked up at all. If that's taken out of context then I understand but it still leaves confusion as to whether they will bring it to PC. It can be seen as something stupidly said or just simply a misunderstanding, they might announce it after E3 just to let the consoles have their hype, or they might work on it after the console version is done.

You have to agree, they should have been a bit more careful with what they said.

No, not really. Nothing that they said was incorrect in the context that it was meant. It's pretty clear to see when you go back to the proper sources and ignore the inflammatory ramblings from numerous sites that just copy and pasted comments without really understanding what they actually meant, that had no real relevance to the original comments in the slightest.

It was nothing more than what I like to call "destructive journalism" that is intended to get site hits and has little care for tarnishing a companies reputation to do so.

Interesting looking game. Has a lot of potential. Voices seem a bit too calm during combat though.

I read the article again with a bit more attention to detail, when he said 'cause nobody wants to', I'm guessing that you mean he was trying to talk about HALO revolutionizing the fps genre. By saying 'cause nobody wants to' he meant the two weapons, regenerating health etc... that's probably what he meant but if I heard him say it, it would give me a better understanding. Either way it's cool, doesn't bother me, just hope they bring the game to PC, if not then that's fine, I have plenty of games to get through anyway.
