It will last just as long, can be upgraded later (for even more processing power) and is massively more versatile than either the PS4 or XBO.
Also, given the fact that now that both the PS4 and XBO are now essentially non-expandable PC's anyway, gave developers will have a VERY EASY time porting from one platform to another. So, IMO, it is a very good time to be a PC Gamer.
oh how this statement is incorrect.
spec for spec, yes you will have more BUT REMEMBER, the game devs CODE STRAIGHT TO THE HARDWARE.
We don't get that on PC because everyone has a different pc.
PS4's are all the same.
Xbox 1's are all the same.
ie they can always push the limit of the hardware because they know that their (I dont even know what gpu is in the ps4 but for example lets say its a GTX 570 for the sake of this) GTX 570 is the highest it will run and @ 1080p@ 60FPS they can use this detail and that feature because they know what the best will be.
ALSO the fact that they code straight to the hardware means they dont deal with a large os like windows, ie more performance and for example still if they were using a GTX 570, because they code to that GTX 570 and say a 2500k, their performance ends up being a 770 and a 4770k.
