Did anyone else go nuts when they saw Mirrors Edge 2?

I personally have a place in my hard drive always for Mirrors Edge. It is one of my favorite games of all time. It was absolutely awesome for PC and I was really disappointed to see nothing about a sequel for years, then a couple hours ago at E3, they dropped the trailer at the EA confrence so suddenly...
But one the guy said "game you guys have all be asking for i was like" dice+EA+game everyone wants? This better be Mirrors Edge 2.
School girl screams of delight.
Although it was during the xbox one segment so I'm curious. The first one was PC, Xbox360 and PS3, the PC version being the best because of its PhysX support, and obvious graphics enhancement over the consoles, but the game was more niche than popular. But the requests for it were overwhelming, so I'm a bit scared that ME2 will end up being an exclusive.
What do you guys think?

I sure hope it isn't, that'd be a huge bummer. If its avaible for PC, will you guys be playing it?
I know ill have it preordered. biggrin.gif

I loved it so much on the ps3, tried to speedrun all the chapters but it was hard man! The game was great but could've used a little more finetuning and accurate controls. Still super psyched for this and will definitely buy it.

I agree mate, I,ve just done a reinstall and its always one of first games back on.... I heard a long time ago that one of the big bosses at EA had a real soft spot for this game and wouldn't allow a sequel unless it was very good... smile.gif

It was way better mouse and keyboard. I had trouble with the game with my 360 controller, but come to the mouse and keyboard it felt absolutely natural and the game was so much more capable of being played how you would move in real life, especially with the way you could look around
Plus it has PhysX.

Don't really care about physX but I do care about controls tongue.gif I will pick it up for pc then probably. If it is console exclusive then I'll get it on console. If it's Xone exclusive then I guess I'll go to the gameshop and ask if I can test the game and just play it in store all day long tongue.gif Did the PhysX add much? I did like the graphical style, it was very clean.
