Well is time to start closing the middle part of the case, lets begin.

This is how the middle bottom part looks, I glued two plexi supports to each side in order to attach the bottom plate.

This are some of the parts already, cut, painted, wired and sleeved

the bottom plate assembled, two green LEDs 80mm fans, a aux power socket and a LED holder on the right side; left side some room for future expansion.

The bottom plate is in place, the center has a clear window with mesh

another picture with the fans on

Short and sweet, I skipped all the building process pictures. I'm using the same techniques as before from my previous posts; for cutting and painting plexi.

P.S.
Fans tally: 11 x 120mm / 11 x 80mm / 1 x blower = 23 for now. Thank god is heavy enough not to take off, flying. :hehe:

Here I had cut a hole in the MOBO tray, the location is under the CPU; for some cooling and space for the WC bracket.

next I painted it green

dry fit it

a shot at the MOBO tray fan

Added the MOBO to the tray

a rear shot of the case

a left shot of the MOBO tray inside the case

a right shot of the MOBO tray inside the case

I does look a lot better painted in green....

grill cover for the rear of the case fans.

left rear side of the case, before

after

left side of the case picture, those fans cool the hard drives

right rear side of the case, before

the grills

after adding the grills

those fan cool the rads

I'm not sure if I will keep them or leave the case with nothing , they won't be seeing from the front and I won't be turning the case sideways to show them...

I was never happy with this look

so I change it to this

this is how it looks in place now

I relocated the other three switches here

Now something new, a light bar to illuminate the WC RES with UV light

goes in the left side of the case at an angle

the final result, at the end it might not be seeing from the front; because it goes behind the doors

This is the mess of wires that I'm dealing with, right now

I'm falling behind the building of cables and the wiring is taking longer than expected. I'm trying to keep the RES from been cover by cables and like you see, it won't be easy; I still have to add more cables to it.

I build a frame out of plexi and glued in place

this are the doors, already cut; the center will be left clear

fitting the doors to the frame

painting the door frame, the hard way

the doors are painted and bolted in place

next picture is after adding the green plexi trim

a picture from another angle

The doors came out good, but they are not finish yet.

Got to cover that big hole in the middle.

I had made this cover for it, long time ago; but I wasn't happy with the final look

after assembling the controllers. I don't like it, too much green showing

I decided to add this black trim with some thumbscrews; now it looks better

the hole is cover

a couple of pictures from different angles

now the controllers look better and they match the color scheme

don't mind the piece of tape

I'm happy with the final result
]

Here are some final shots.

That is a 19 inch monitor for size reference

in the top of the case, they are two routers and a cable modem

hereyou can see the MOBO at the bottom of the case

the left side of the case

right side a better picture

the top of the case at least for now

The case weight a total of 140 lbs.

UV lights on

some HDs are off no green glow

WC RES shot

MOBO, sorry I don't have a trypod

now green lights are on

right side shot

trying a full case shot, holding my breath..

those are the best pics I could get....

Thanks for watching...CrazyModder out...... THE END!.

i've seen many many mods in my lifetime, MANY

this is by far the best in terms of attention to detail, personal preference, i don't like cases that arent in the normal shape, yet you pulled it off bigtime. I love the accents of green in conrast with the black, and the res looks like a futuristic POWER CORE. I can't get over your attention to detail, it is amazing and is what separates this case from other weird case mods. However, it also holds you back because there is too much going on (in my opinion)

100/100 effort
99/100 looks (the crowding)
100/100 innovation (especially the PSU housing!)

btw, love the easter egg - turbine idea! *stole ^^
