I beleave the Flickering is caused by the AMD drivers, if you revert back to 12.8 or before you wont get the flickering

Does your problem looks like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xcml45I2wTY

i beleave till this day there is no fix for it

edit:
I see the youtube link i gave is probably not what you experience,

But as soon as you edit the speeds in Afterburner/Trixx you will get a massive screen flicker that turns it useless. So i just edited a bios with RBE with a minor OC.. its probably most you can do now

Yes you are spot on correct as soon as you change the speeds in trixx the flickering starts, there is some way to modify Msi afterburner but I haven't been successful so far maybe ill give it another shot- But for comparison sake when I did have access to voltage I picked up 30+ fps so it was a huge help in games as you can imagine. If I cant get afterburner to work ill try reverting back to the drivers you mentioned see if that helps any- Thank you btw +1 rep:thumb:

Id did some research, you have to downgrade all the way to 12.4 to make the flicker go away

Lets say you run 12.4 drivers with 950mhz on core, its just as fast as latest drivers and 880mhz on core,

So id say use the latest drivers, but try to edit your Bios with Radeon Bios Editor, to give yourself a small OC that is usable on the latest drivers

Edit my bios? I heard that's dangerous and you could end-up bricking your card that way>? The thing about me I play maybe 1 game that is new Metro last light-everything else I play is dated or either a flight sim I don't benefit a lot from newer drivers like most people do.I downloaded that program called Radeon pro but ive jet to try doing any settings in there its just overwhelming How many settings are in there,I wouldn't know were to begin lol.Thank you for your help btw!

I geuss the difference from driver performance differs from game to game,

But i can tell you that 12.6 and 12.13 or differ atleast 5-10fps in games like Battlefield 3, the same result that Ocing probably gives you.

If you have a card with a bios switch, there is allmost no chance of bricking your card,
if the flash goes bad, you can allway boot on the other bios, set the switch back to the bad bios and flash the bad bios with a good one.

You should revert back to old driver, see what your Max OC is on stock voltage, and Max OC on a ''max'' voltage,
then you can choose how you want your bios to be, so you know it will be 100% stable.
