Its sort of like the same thing as the Cosair CX but was released a long time before the CX

Both of them are entry level units

I might be doing exactly what you said, and buying another power supply frown.gif

The 5850 arrived in the mail today, but there is a problem. The card has 6+8 pin power connectors. (The seller on Ebay said that it had 6+6) And the reference 5850's have 6+6.

The GameXStream has an 8 and a 6, and that's it. I was going to power the two additional 6 off the two other 12V rails using Molex connectors. But now I can't, as there are no molex to 8 pin adapters that I have seen. What a waste of money, I could have bought 1 more powerful GPU for the price of a 5850 and a PSU.

This is what I mean:

Rosewill Capstone 750-M has 4 sets of PCI-E cables all 4 of them are 6+2 pins

And its hard to beat the Capstone when you look at bang for buck it gives you

I went to Canada Computers on Kennedy, and they only had Corsair power supplies in stock. (I hate corsair, but whatever, I'll bite the bullet)
I bought the CX750M. It was $99 (Seems dumb in hindsight, as I spent $230 total to get the second GPU and have it run, I could have got a single better card...but whatever) Just in the process of synchronizing clocks, but it is pretty decent.
Thanks for the help

The Cosair CX is not really a great series by any means they are just above being a fire hazard

They are the bare minimum anyone sould every buy and only if A you are broke with no money for something better

Or B if you cant find anything better at all

It has a a whole whopping one Panasonic japanese capacitor and only one rated at 85c not a 105c one the rest are taiwanese and chinese capacitors

Like Teapo Samxon or the worst of them CapXon also known as CrapXon
