Temps are a little high depending on the type of cooling you have. Still safe thou

Get a better cooler (that is, at least a halfway decent one) and/or case airflow. I get about those temps @ 4.6GHz 1.35 volts fully loaded on my air cooler. Other than that, typical stable voltage for that OC.

I dont have aircondition this days ambient temp is about 25-28
post #7 of 10
Still about 5 to 10 °C higher than I would expect, even given those ambient temps. Still, you should be alright, but I personally wouldn't try and push the CPU past 75 °C on a regular and sustained basis, and would aim for 70 °C or lower. Given by previous post, keep in mind that I also have two graphics cards running in the case at about 60 °C each and the internal case temp is about 33 °C.

What cooler/heatsink are you using?

ambient temps are warmish, those prime95 temps look ok. in practice you'll never see those temps in real world use, maybe mid 60s... when winter comes around revisit the OC smile.gif

Fair enough. That looks like it should be a decent air cooler. Temps still seem a little on the high side to me, but as others have said too, you're still under a safe level, so shouldn't be a problem. I probably wouldn't try and clock it too much higher for longer periods of full load. I am curious too what the high core temps will be for you with lower ambient temps. Let us know if you find out.
