Water level drops about 1cm in 1-2 weeks

Thread Starter
Should I have any concern? The water level in my XSPC X2O 750 has dropped about a centimeter in about 1-2 weeks.

I do not see any leaks and leak tested for 48 hours.

My guess is the 1-2cm you lost probably displaced some air bubbles in the loop, and is perfectly normal for a newly build loop. If you continue to lose fluid over time, that's not normal and indicates evaporation through the hoses or a slow leak.

Yeah, that happens.

If you have just filled your loop the water level drops over the first couple of weeks as the micro bubbles make their way out of all the components. Top the res up if the water falls too low.

If the level continues to drop over the next few weeks then maybe do another leak check, use TP around the fittings to try and spot any tiny leaks.
