Be aware:
By pixel perfect he means no bright/stuck pixels.
There is no standard on how many dead pixels is considered faulty.

I emailed him and he agreed to guarantee the monitor I got would have less than 1 dead pixel, but that was not stated in the original listing.

Good luck!

Thanks again for all your help. I never actually considered 4K, I'm in no business to be spending 1600-1700 on a Korean 4K, 1440p however is soon to be a go. wheee.gif

I'm more than happy with 60 hz, and I have decided on this guy right here. And after that a lot of money saving, and maybe one day a second 6950. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
*Edit* Also, would it be that bad to save an extra 35 bucks to go with the "Up to two dead pixel" version? Are DPs noticable at 108.8 ppi. and 0.2335 mm pixel size?

I think the change in the past year has been pretty insane, actually. For example, Dell's UltraSharp U2713HM hits about $550 on Amazon, which is crazy cheap for a monitor with more inputs and features than most of the Koreans, which cost in the $400 range. Granted, that model has had some consistency issues and it's not up to the same quality as the $900 Dell UltraSharps, but I think 1440p panels have trended into the mid-hundreds instead of high-hundreds in just the past year or year and a half, which is quite a change.

Lol yeah bro, I'm sure these Korean eBay sellers who speak broken English were able to contact and hire a bunch of native English-speakers to rep their monitors on here.

JUST KIDDING

I am a guy who likes to help people out. I bought a Qnix because hell 1440p with PLS and possible 120hz. I took a risk on a possible lemon product and it paid off more than i had hoped for. Maybe there are some Qnix sales reps on here but i can assure you that i do have one and i get to play around with lots of monitor with my line of work and the friends i have in graphic design and overall it is one of the best i have used(with some work NOT out of the box).

I would also say if i had to pick another monitor it would be the 144hz Asus monitor (DA DA DA do i work for Qnix or Asus????????? HAHA JK)

Anyway buy what you want if it happens to be a korean display good for you it made me happy. thumb.gif

I KNEW IT! And everyone thought I was crazy when I wallpapered my house with Korean newspaper clippings! I'LL SHOW THEM WHO'S CRAZY!!!!!

Hahahaha, I admit, you guys make me laugh. thumb.gif

I wasn't trying to be accusatory or anything, it just seemed odd, but then again I don't read every thread so I have no idea where/when people are posting.

I think it is because every time someone mentions/suggests the Qnix/X-Star monitors on other forums everyone links back to the huge thread over here...at least that's what I've been doing.
