You seem to have intentionally ignored the part where giving your friend the PS4 disc means you can't actually play it because they have it.
While the XBO implementation to allow both you and your friend to play, with or without physical possession of your game.
Any particular reason why you did that?
Actually, I should probably rep Apocalypse for reminding me of this while all of this drama llama stuff is going on.
The sharing options on XBO are actually much better
On PS4, to share a game, you give away your disc and you don't get to play again till you get that disc back. IF you get your disc back....
With XBO if I want to share a game, I authorise my friends account to download the game, while also retaining the ability to play the game myself without requiring the game to be returned to me.
If I want my game back and my friend is MIA or being a dumbazz, I simply de-authorise his share and its all mine again.
And I can do this sharing with up to ten friends.
That is many times more convenient than handing discs around....one at a time.....especially when they can come back looking like unwashed dinner plates.
I like how you adamantly try to defend this thing. Kinda like Vampirr with AMD products.
And no, the sharing options aren't remotely the same. You know that pre-sharing period that is required to have your friends on your friends list for thirty days? Its a pain in the arse.
Its exactly like League of Legend's painful way of gifting RP/Skins/Champs where you have to be on their friendslist for 2 weeks. Its annoying as hell.
Another reason why that implementation is awful? Not everyone, hell quite a lot of people, SELL their games after they are finished with them to financially recoup some of the costs that they had to pay when buying the game. Xbox One has no way of possibly doing that without having to wait a damn MONTH. And even then, its harder than just handing them a physical disc, getting your money, and being on your merry way.
Most people can't afford $60 every single damn time a new game comes out. They pay the first $60, finish the game, and generally loan/sell it to buy more games at a less upfront cost.
Xbox One? Doesn't allow that without seriously inconveniencing the end user, and even then doesn't honestly fully allow it either.
Oh, and I've neglected to mention this, but PS+ vs XBL. I'd take PS+ any day of the week. More free games, and you don't actually have to buy it if all you play are single player games/campaigns. That's nowhere near like XBL where you have to buy it to even run your damn console.
And I'm not even getting into the entry costs and wasteful extras in the Xbox One (Kinect) that make the base difference so vast that to go with the Xbox would be utterly stupid unless you have to have those ~5 Xbox exclusive games.
Please, just stop. We all know you are as fanboy with Microsoft as Vampirr is with AMD, but its getting ridiculous. Its not even a circlejerk anymore. You are just posting flat out wrong facts.
