I suggest buying one from Best Buy then. They price match off Amazon (so long as its sold and shipped by Amazon) and its a WHOLE lot easier returning stuff to them. If you get it home and it has a dead pixel, all you have to do is box it up and drive back to the store and exchange it. Thats why I love brick and mortar stores and support Best Buy as much as I can because I love the idea of being able to drive 10 minutes from my house and talk to an actual person about a problem instead of waiting for a reply to my email.

Bit of a rant there but yeah, I recommend buying from a B&M store when it comes to something like a monitor.

that's what I did, I got it from TigerDirect store here in Naperville, il.
I'm not big fan of the tigerdirect/compusa but just like you said, I always get my monitors from them.

I've heard there are videos on YouTube that you play for an hour and it revives those pixels. Not really sure because I didn't hear much about it.

All good so far, knock on wood,
LOL, now I need a better video card,
I start to think what the hell i put myself into!!! I was good for 9 years when i quit PC tongue.gif, it's like an addict relapse back drool.gif

no but really, in order to make my $1100 PC now able to play the same games as my xbox I still need a better gpu,
question here, since i'm not in a hurry, should i buy something now or wait till the radeon hd 8xxx comes ? even so, most of the 6xxx (higher ends) still have good value now, some of them are more expensive than mid 7xxx.
