What people are not allowed to tell the truth. I believe you are stuck in the mid 2000 when there there was all the bashing coming from the fanboys on both side of the fence.
I have one as a fourth system, for when my 10 years old grand kid comes over. With the gpu overclocked to 1100, 8 GB of 2400 ram, COD black ops 2 @ 1080p on low settings does 29 to 40 fps.
You would like people to lie, so when the ops builds the computer, he comes back here and ask what to do to get his 60fps min @ 1080p. And, you will be the last one to show your face on that thread.
The amd 6800k is good for what it is, but it is really a 760p gaming cpu/gpu, even at that he won't get 60min fps. 720p on low to medium settings will give something like close to 35 min 50 average and 65 max fps.
The forum is here to help people, not to lie and hide cpu weaknesses. Amd aps are good for what they are, provide an entry level gaming experience at a low cost. That's all they are, no more no less. And quit dreaming, xbox one and ps4 won't bring anything to the current crop of AMD apus, amd apus are stuck @ 2 modules 4 cores while the xbox and ps versions will get 4 modules 8 cores, so any 8 thread programming will just emphasize the current apus weaknesses.Edited by glussier - 8/5/13 at 10:04am
