I agree!!! I think people do more damage using this than anything. because it is half on and then you can get it to start and have to power down and power back up that can not be good for system files!!!!

I think info on PSU Haswell is not 100% correct!

I bought Haswell and Chieftec BPS 750w c2 PSU and i have hard time making it to post fine from cold boot, CPU led lit red and no post...
switched to old LC hyperion 700w and no issue at all

I tried disabling C6 and C7 and that did not help

I bolded the likely source of your problem above...

Sure but i tracked few more ppl at Asus forum, they had corsair, ect and same problem as me, also BPS modes is chieftec top class, build by CWT many more companies use the same platform

IIRC, the Chieftec Nitro85+ 750w unit is a CWT PSH-II which are independent regulated. It's internally identical to the Corsair TX-C (release between the original TX and v2 for a short amount of time) and the first version of the GS800.

It shouldn't perform badly like group regulated PSUs do during crossload scenario, so it shouldn't have any problem with Haswell.

Edit: the Nitro85+ II is the PUQ-B like the CX750 and Thermaltake Smart SP-750m. It too shouldn't have any problems with Haswell.

I say there is something fishy with the Haswell!

Also after each failed start, next successful one report Overclock failed, maybe its a combination of mobo (i have asus z87-a) + haswell and PSU, also i run full load test on BPS and haswell after a successful boot up and have not faund issue while it is on
