Trouble flashing BIOS

Thread Starter
Anyone else seem to have a problem flashing their ASUS Bios? I am attempting to use the program included with the mobo but it does not connect. So I am not exactly sure where to go from here..

The easiest way is actually AFUDOS.

you get it from their website and you get the most recent BIOS file (think its a .ROM file. You just put it on a floppy and then boot into DOS and then its type like afudos /iROMFILE.ROM or what ever its named

NOTE Asus is dumb and the name of the BIOS files on their site are more letters than they are allowed to be for AFUDOS to work. I just renamed mine to xxx.ROM and it works fine.
