I think its alright. Like I said mine ran for almost 7 years problem free until just this past fall it started to fail on me. It just would have issues with bootups failing. I'd have to try to boot and it would get fans spinning but not get the board to post. Turn it off, then turn back on and hit power again and it would boot. Its just getting weak, but that was over 6 years of 24/7 use. The thing never got turned off. Its decent at pushing heat out the back of the case and doesnt get overly hot itself. The ZX version i have does get a bit warm... that or its just pushing extra heat from the 2 HD 6790s on it
I probably ought to look into a better unit myself since I added a second card, but its holding up thus far.
Coolmax's only huge problem is overrating their units. But running at 400W it ought to be more than fine (and not dangerous) Most complaints I've read are DOA units or not rated power output, and not exploding/fire problems.
I agree though if you can get the better brand I would
