What ever happened to Steelseries NP+?

I would like to get one, but seems discontinued. Any other full black mousepads like that one?

That's a shame, I really love the NP+! Glad I ordered a backup a few months ago while it was still on amazon...

Isn't that a smooth pad?

I think this one might actually be closer: http://www.zowiegear.com/index.php?i=product&p=12

Or the Razer Goliathus Control in the big version.

I've only used the NP+ at a LAN but the Rf was pretty identical. The NP+ is slightly larger surface area but the Rf is thicker. The TF Rough might have the same feel but it definitely has a faster glide than the other two.

I don't know what your definition of a "smooth" pad is but I wouldn't call the NP+ or the Rf one.

Yeah, NP+ definitely isn't smooth. The RF looked like it. Seeing that the RF isn't even listed on the Zowie site it seems to me that the TF Rough is the new version of it. Might be wrong though.

Anyone else know? Looking for a mouse mat that feels nice and has friction like in the Qck+, but won't make an Abyssus jitter. I thought the NP+ would be similar, but since that is discontinued, any one have test results from the above suggested mousepad?

Go with the RF-G. After pulling mine back out I can confirm its the same surface as the NP+. The only difference is the dimensions.
