Got all my Haswell Watercooling stuff now I just need to choose a MOBO

Thread Starter
Okay guys I have recieved all the Watercooling stuff and it is time to choose a Mobo and CPU for my build.... I would like to make this mainly a gaming but also a beginner streaming and recording and photo editing pc... So I am thinking since the Watercooling took a lot of my money I can go with an i5 4670K OC it until Christmas which is when I always do upgrades and get a 4770K then.... I think I can get away with that as I am getting the Aver Media Live Gamer HD which has its own Encoder and processor on it.... So these are the motherboards Im thinking of:

Z87 Gryphon
Z87X OC
Z87X UD3H
Maximus VI Hero

I can work my theme around just about all of these boards.... But I want a board that will help me achieve at least 4.8-5ghz OC on my i5.... I will get an Arc Mini if I get a Gryphon which is what I was going to do but well... I think I should ask before I make an irrational decision... Thanks guys.... Ignore my Sig that build never happened... Actually Ill delete it... The first rig I sold so I dont have that one anymore...

Hero because it's a no frills extreme with all the quality components. The extreme is arguably the best oc board and the hero has that pedigree.

I like all those boards. If I was choosing from them I would select the gigabyte OC. I love the build quality, features and the color scheme. It's not the best bios in the world but it works fine.

Another vote for Hero, although the Formula is a good option if you'd like to include the VRM in your loop.

The Hero looks pretty good on paper. I'd recommend the MSI boards too, using the MPower Max myself and pretty content so far. The lower GD65 also look decent and has the same red theme as the Hero.

I'd probably hold off on the Gigabyte boards for now, there are many people reporting minor issues here and there with them. I personally got a defective G1. Sniper 5. Not suggesting anyone to boycott the brand though, their UD3-4-5H lineup is very solid and has more features than you ever need, they're hard to beat in their price range, just that they're not quite perfectly stable right now.
