I would buy that bracket, but I really need to get my computer up and running asap (impatient clients on hold right now...yikes). I just put the res in the empty 5.25 bay area. So far it seems to fit without any issues. Let's see how it works out.

Another option would be to get a male/male connector and put the res directly on top of the pump.

I was going to do that, but the top threads (at least how I have it orientated) on the pump are the outlet.

Anyway, before I fill her up again, this is my new loop:



Am I good to go now?
